Putting Things Back Together Without a Guide

I believe at this point in my practical hobby experience I can take anything apart and put it back together with none to minimal guidance. Previously I have rebuilt transfer cases so doing the NV231 with upgraded parts was easy. However, I ran into an issue with the 6L80E transmission. It came out of a 2WD car and not a 2WD truck. The key difference there is that either the 2WD or 4WD truck transmissions require minimal external work. The 2WD car 6L80E requires breaking down the entirety of the transmission internals and replacing the rear output shaft. I did it without a guide and I am betting on it working without issue. Amusingly the only special tool required to work on the 6L80E is a gigantic pair of snap ring pliers.
